Running Start
Running start is a dual credit program where you attend a community college and earn college credit while simultaneously earning high school credit. Check out the Running Start Guide and information below, or visit SPSCC’s website.
Ready to get started?
- Complete the first four steps listed on: https://spscc.edu/admissions/running-start
- Once you’ve completed the first four steps, register for classes at SPSCC.
- Need help choosing classes? Email your counselor to set up an appointment, or stop by the counseling center at RRHS. Your high school counselor will go over the remaining high school required classes/credits and help you choose classes.

RSEVF Form
Running Start Enrollment Verification Form (RSEVF)
Once you register for classes, schedule an appointment with your high school counselor to get your form signed. Print it, fill it out, sign it, have your parent/guardian sign it, and then bring it to your RRHS counselor.
You must return this form to SPSCC each quarter.
